Life at Nigeria Navy Logistics College
On my assumption of office as the Commandant on 3 August 2023, it was noted that commendable works had been done towards realizing several of the College’s objectives. Notwithstanding, efforts were further intensified to expedite the progress of the College in terms of training, administration and infrastructure among others.
Purchase and donations of books to the College Library by private organizations and academic institutions
A modern ECG machine and 3-seater waiting chairs for patients were procured for the Sickbay while the officers dining hall was also upgraded with convenient dining tables.
Renovations of ratings accommodations, auditorium, admin block and the training blocks. Upgrade of mess gears as well as maintenance of college vehicles for optimum performance.
Outside its training activities, the College established an Internal Security (IS) Team to secure its Area of Operations. The IS Team further extends its patrols to cover up to Bichi, Kunchi and Sumaila Local Government Areas. This effort, in collaboration with other security agencies and supported by Kano State Government has led to arrests of criminals, bandits and kidnappers, thereby ensuring sustenance of relative peace and security in Kano State.
